Let’s celebrate Neurodiversity Week

More and more, we are listening to terms like Autism, ADHD, and neurodivergence, especially on social media, a promising start.
As an Educator working with children with autism, I witnessed various reactions from adults and children in public settings, some people will show empathy, while others appear scared or uncomfortable, when they see children’s unique expressions of happiness through movements and sounds, or when they are having meltdowns.
There’s still much awareness needed in our society to support each other on this journey, so let’s do it together!

EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY, PROMOTING AWARENESS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN
This group is to support parents of children with special needs, and for this special occasion, we want to invite all families whether you have a neurodivergent or neurotypical child.
We will dive into the unique challenges and strengths of special needs children, and we’ll be discussing how to talk about it with your kids.
Let’s work together to create a more understanding and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

A book designed to spark conversation between children and their carers as they navigate with the letters ADHD.
After the reading, join us for an interactive discussion with children and parents about the challenges and adventures of our firefly friend.
